The MicroClimate AIR 3 PAPR Helmet combines a NIOSH-approved HE P100 powered air-purifying respirator with ANSI Z87+ full-face impact protection in one easy-to-wear unit.
Its filters capture 99.97% of airborne particulates, while the powered blower maintains positive pressure inside the loose-fitting helmet.
Workers can wear it with beards or glasses, and it doesn't require annual fit testing. A wide visor provides a clear field of view, and the balanced design helps reduce neck strain during long shifts.
The onboard battery provides more than eight hours of runtime and charges by USB-C, with alarms for low battery and low airflow.
Made in Provo, Utah, the AIR 3 is designed to protect against dust, mist, metal fumes, and other particulate hazards. It provides bump-cap protection but is not hard-hat rated and does not protect against gases or vapors.
