The National Safety Council (NSC) recently announced the winners of its 2025 New Product Showcase Awards at its 2025 Safety Congress & Exposition.

The show was hosted by NSC Sept. 15-17 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

NSC said more than 7,500 votes were cast during this year’s product showcase.

Elmridge iEvac E500 industrial escape hood

The iEvac E500 industrial escape hood from Elmridge Protection Products was named “Best in Show.”

The NIOSH-certified iEvac E500 provides respiratory protection against a wide range of toxic gases, vapors, and particulates at a P100 level. Its reusable, transparent hood has an easily-replaceable filter, offering a 10-year shelf life.

Constructed from a soft, transparent material, the mask hood offers a wide, distortion-free field of view with anti-fog coating for enhanced visibility in emergency scenarios.

PIP Traverse safety helmet

The Traverse safety helmet from PIP Global Safety, equipped with Quin’s active sensors and Mips’ multi-directional impact protection technology, earned second place.

It’s an ANSI-certified intelligent helmet that detects workplace-specific incidents, including falls, slips, impacts, and temperature changes.

The embedded active Quin sensors and NFC Tag enable secure medical ID access and real-time alerts to emergency contacts and first responders.

Werner L213 series cable grab

Rounding out the top three list is the Werner Cable Grab fall protection system.

Designed for seamless integration with a wide range of fixed ladder and tower systems, its universal attachment system allows for quick and easy connection to any 3/8-inch solid core 1×7 or 7×19 cable.

Once secured, users can ascend and descend smoothly without unexpected lockups or unintentional stops.
