The BWI Eagle Wireless Dozer Stop Switch from Cattron provides heavy machine operators on stockpiles with instant stop control directly from the cab.

Coal and mineral stockpiles present one of the most serious hazards in mining. Bulldozers can unexpectedly fall into hidden cavities at underground feeder locations. Protecting operators in these critical moments requires fast, reliable, fail-safe emergency shutdown technology.

Monitor up to eight dozers simultaneously

With the push of a button, the system stops feeders and alerts emergency personnel. Its full-duplex handshake link ensures continuous communication up to 4,500 feet and automatically halts the feeder if the link is broken, even during power loss or signal interruption.

Engineered with 900 MHz spread spectrum technology, the system maintains secure, interference-resistant communication and can monitor up to eight dozers simultaneously. Integral high-current relays enable seamless integration with plant equipment, while onboard LEDs confirm safe operation and build operator confidence.

Designed specifically for mining environments, the BWI Eagle Dozer Stop Switch can deliver fail-safe protection for dozer operators working on coal stockpiles with underground feeders.
