Radnor, Pennsylvania-based Airgas exhibited its wide range of products and services that can help keep teams and workplaces safe at the Safety 2026 Conference & Expo.
The show was hosted by The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) June 15-17 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
Airgas ISEA QSSP and OSHA 30-certified safety specialists were available to answer questions about products and services, including:
The company also held a 15-minute “Flash Session” the afternoon of June 15 at its booth. Arthur Schnitzer, Airgas West Region VP of Metal Fabrication, hosted the informative discussion titled “Safety in Focus: Minimize safety risks working with lasers and compressed gasses.”
Airgas launched its RADNOR PPE line designed for women in March, and highlighted it at the ASSP 2026 PPE Runway Fashion Show.
During National Safety Month in June, the company promoted the new line across social media.
Airgas noted standard welding apparel for women is often just scaled-down men's sizing, which can cause safety issues. Loose fabric that can snag or trap stray sparks, bulky glove fingertips ruin dexterity, and boxy shoulders can restrict movement.
RADNOR women’s welding gear is engineered with proper sleeve lengths, contoured fits, adjustable waistlines, and narrower hand profiles to provide exact protection for female body shapes without dangerous bulkiness.
Airgas said the collection reflects its ongoing commitment to safety, comfort, and inclusivity in the workplace, and the launch of this new line is a significant step towards ensuring all workers have access to the protective gear they need to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
“We have no higher priority than safety, and providing effective protective equipment is a key part of our value proposition. Our new RADNOR women's PPE line is a direct response to feedback from our customers and associates, while tapping into a significant growth market. We've designed this collection with women in mind, ensuring proper fit and optimal performance without compromising style. We are committed to fostering an inclusive workforce where everyone is safely empowered to succeed.”
—Jay Worley, Airgas COO
The new line includes both gloves and welding jackets, all designed with a focus on fit, function, and style.
Airgas has collaborated with leading manufacturers to source materials and designs that prioritize both safety and comfort, addressing the unique needs of women in the welding industry.
