DOT Special Permit 20432

Damaged, defective, and recalled lithium-ion batteries (and devices that contain them) usually must be transported as fully-regulated Class 9 shipments, requiring extensive labeling, documentation, function-specific training, and significant surcharges.

Obexion Pro, with U.S. DOT Special Permit 20432, lets you ship your damaged, defective, or recalled batteries or devices as Excepted shipments by ground or vessel. That means:

  • No hazard class labels
  • No hazmat shipping papers
  • No extra training
  • No carrier surcharges
  • You save money, time, and headaches

If you are shipping lithium ion batteries by UPS, please contact UPS for pre-approval. If you are not shipping by UPS, please contact your local carrier for shipping requirements.

Custom packaging sizes and design variations are available.
