OSHA is hosting its annual Safe & Sound Week Aug. 10-16 to recognize the successes of workplace safety and health programs.
Safe & Sound Week is a nationwide event held each August that offers information and ideas on how to keep America’s workers safe.
It is a time to take action, as well as reflect on and recognize the efforts employers have made to improve workplace safety and health throughout the year.
Successful safety and health programs can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness, improving sustainability and bottom lines.
Participating in Safe & Sound Week can help organizations start a program, energize an existing one, or provide a chance to recognize their safety and health accomplishments. Participating in Safe & Sound Week is easy and fun!
All organizations looking for an opportunity to recognize their commitment to safety and health are welcome to participate.
In 2025, more than 4,600 businesses helped raise awareness about workers’ safety and health through the program.
If your organization cannot participate during Safe & Sound Week’s scheduled time, pick a week that works for you and your workers.
