Yale Lift Truck Technologies will showcase its ergonomically-designed lift trucks and operator assistance technologies at MODEX 2026 in booth B13732.

The trade show is being hosted by MHI April 13-16 in Atlanta, Georgia.

At Yale’s interactive booth experience, attendees will be able to experience lift truck systems engineered around their everyday labor, safety, and productivity challenges, including:

  • Warehouse trucks with exceptional ergonomics
  • Advanced automation technologies that help warehouses address the limited supply of experienced lift truck operators
  • Yale Route Runner, a purpose-built direct-store delivery system

“Every day, we hear from our customers that they’re struggling to meet demand for high volumes, manage more SKUs, and deliver orders ever faster, in large part due to a longstanding labor shortage,” said Brad Long, Yale Lift Truck Technologies global brand manager. “We’ve been laser focused on engineering solutions to meet warehouses where they are and help solve those labor and productivity challenges, and we’re bringing a comprehensive showcase of those solutions to MODEX.”

Live demonstrations, presentations at MODEX

The booth will feature several exhibits and live demonstrations, including:

  • A live demonstration of Yale Reliant operator assistance technologies that can automatically intervene to help operators avoid accidents and reinforce forklift best practices, including the award-winning Yale Reliant pedestrian awareness camera
  • An interactive experience featuring the Yale Relay automated lift truck portal, which will allow visitors to set up and remap lift truck routes - no coding or software engineering experience required
  • An up-close look at Yale Route Runner, a two-in-one system for direct-store delivery that features a pallet truck and a detachable, nested sled, removing the need for drivers to haul two pieces of equipment between the delivery trailer and storefront
  • A full lineup of warehouse lift trucks, including the recently-updated three-wheel stand-up truck for dock-to-stock warehouse tasks and a new counterbalanced truck with integrated lithium-ion battery power

Yale subject matter experts will also present two seminars at the show, providing a deep dive into systems to address key labor and last-mile delivery challenges.

What’s new in lift truck automation, and how it benefits today’s warehouses

  • Date and time: Monday, April 13 at 3:00 p.m. EDT
  • Location: Theater I
  • As much as 350 million square feet of new logistics space will be needed by 2030, and every million square feet will require 80-100 lift trucks to cover it. But with experienced labor at a premium, who’s going to operate those trucks? Get a fresh look at the state of lift truck automation and why a new generation of systems is bucking the traditional outlook on automation.

Time to rethink direct-store delivery

  • Date and time: Wednesday, April 15 at 12:00 p.m. EDT
  • Location: Theater I
  • Delivery drivers must navigate a variety of environments designed for foot traffic and automotive use, adding extra steps to an already arduous, labor-intensive process, with drivers cycling between different pieces of equipment for outdoor and indoor tasks. Learn about a more efficient approach to direct-store delivery, enabled by an innovative new system.
