Work glove provider Tilsatec North America recently showcased its hand protection and arm protection products, including its RhinoYarn cut-resistant technology, at the 2025 Safety Congress & Exposition.

The show was hosted by The National Safety Council (NSC) Sept. 15-17 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

RhinoYarn is Tilsatec’s own proprietary cut-resistant yarn, which it manufactures on site in the U.K. to deliver performance and quality mechanical protection in its products, building upon over 135 years of experience.

ANSI A9 cut resistance for industrial, automotive manufacturing

RhinoYarn technology is an engineered yarn process that combines various technical fibers and materials. Such materials can be used on their own, but when blended together to create a composite yarn, Tilsatec said they can achieve significantly higher levels of cut protection, without compromising on comfort or dexterity.

Each component is carefully selected to engineer a product that delivers the desired mechanical performance in the most efficient and value-driven structure possible.

Tilsatec said it prioritizes the quality of its products to build lasting customer relationships, making it possible for workers across North America to go home to their families injury-free each night. The company created its own purpose-built independent R&D laboratory, allowing it to try out new ideas and fresh combinations of materials whilst maintaining stringent due diligence and quality control.

Tilsatec offers a comprehensive range of cut-resistant hand and arm protection products for use in a variety of industrial sectors. RhinoYarn products help people do their jobs safely and efficiently in high hazard environments wherever there are cut and puncture hazards, sharps, or needles.

The company’s range of flexible, durable, and reliable hand and arm protection delivers up to ANSI A9 cut resistance, which it said has been trusted by the Big 3 automotive manufacturers and major PPE distributors for over 20 years in the U.S.
