ASA Safety Supply, a portfolio company of Trivest Partners LP, today announced its acquisition of Indiana Safety & Supply (ISS).

Based in Washington, Indiana, ISS is a distributor specializing in PPE and facility safety products. The company serves customers throughout Indiana and surrounding states.

The companies said Kevin Bush, ISS president & CEO, and his team have built a strong organization focused on delivering high-quality safety products and offerings, earning a reputation for comprehensive offerings and exceptional customer service.

“We are very excited to welcome Indiana Safety & Supply to the ASA Safety family,” said Ken Calhoun, ASA Safety president. “This strategic partnership aligns perfectly with our long-term growth strategy, enhancing our platform’s scale while expanding our presence into new and promising markets. ISS’s purchasing scale strengthens our buying power and enhances our ability to grow and expand their private-label branded products across the broader ASA Safety portfolio.”

Shared customer-first commitment to workplace safety

ASA Safety said it remains committed to delivering innovative safety products and services, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting sustainable, long-term growth within the industrial safety industry. The acquisition of ISS reinforces ASA Safety’s ability to provide a comprehensive suite of safety offerings to its customers.

ISS provides a variety of safety products, including work gloves, workwear and sleeves, eye protection, ear protection, hard hats, signage, and spill protection products.

“From the start, it was clear ASA Safety and ISS share a customer-first commitment to workplace safety,” Bush said. “Joining the ASA Safety platform expands what we can offer in specialized safety products and related services. Together, we’ll broaden product access, strengthen service and support, and create new opportunities for our team, including accelerating growth of our private label through ASA’s scale and capabilities. I’m excited to partner with ASA and confident this combination will deliver meaningful value to our customers.”

With this partnership, the ASA Safety family of brands now includes BHP Safety Supply, Safety Max, Environmental Safety Supply & Rental (ESSR), Clean Coast Supply, Occupational Fitness (OccuFit), and ISS.

ASA Safety provides a wide range of products, including fall protection, confined space, first aid, gas detection, heat protection, lockout/tagout, respiratory protection, and hazardous materials response products.

The Company continues to pursue strategic add-on acquisitions of safety distribution and services businesses throughout the Southeastern United States.
