Using patented Passive Terahertz Technology, Thruvision’s safe-distance screening detects metallic and non-metallic objects including weapons, drugs, alcohol, and concealed items hidden under clothing at distances up to 10 feet.

The LPC (Loss Prevention Camera) units, unlike normal infrared sensors, work at a lower frequency called “Terahertz.” At this frequency, a person’s body heat creates a thermal image, and as a result any items concealed in or under clothing block the thermal image enabling the sensor to see the size, shape, and location of the concealed item.

With more than 400 units deployed in retail distribution, logistics, and warehouse channels, our customers are reporting a considerable ROI in less than six months. If your company is looking for an innovative, cost-effective, and efficient way to mitigate theft, shorten screening times, reduce guard costs and improve workplace safety, Thruvision People Screening is the right solution for you.

Three key product features:

  1. Detects metal and non-metallic items concealed under clothing.
  2. The operator is always at a safe distance from the subject; no wanding required.
  3. Efficient, helping expedite the throughput of associates.
