March 19, 2014

To stop a getaway vehicle, the Pit-BUL device by Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company resembles a speed bump, but is outfitted with a deployable vehicle capturing system.

The system prevents a vehicle from escaping by releasing netting to entrap the front tires upon deployment. Push-button controlled, the non-lethal system does not cause damage to the car or its occupants.

It is reusable, and ideal for applications with a need for perimeter security.
