MAX USA Corp., a manufacturer of high-end industrial tools, recently announced the launch of its RB613T-C connected rebar tying tool designed to give contractors greater visibility and control over their tools through a web-based platform.

Compared to hand tying, this tool can reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.

Featuring TWINTIER real-time tool tracking, remote locking, and geofencing alerts, the RB613T-C helps contractors quickly locate tools, monitor activity, reduce downtime, and help deter potential theft - all while delivering the rapid tying performance and reliable power needed to secure larger rebar combinations.

The new RB613T-C is now available exclusively in the U.S. through authorized MAX dealers, providing construction professionals with enhanced tool security, greater visibility, and smarter tool management.

TWINTIER connected platform to monitor tools

Combining rapid tying performance with controlled, reliable power, the RB613T-C with TWINTIER technology integrating cellular and GPS connectivity provides users with greater visibility into tool performance and operation.

Through a connected platform, users can easily monitor tools, identify errors, and access troubleshooting steps and recommended solutions to help resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime.

The RB613T-C delivers approximately 4300 ties per charge and is compatible with TW1061T Wire Series, providing the productivity and reliability needed for demanding rebar applications.

Product features

  • MAXIMIZE REBAR TYING - Features a larger jaw capacity than most battery-powered rebar tying tools for greater versatility on the jobsite. Ties up to #9 x #10 rebar.
  • LOCATION TRACKING - Integrated cellular and GPS connectivity enables real-time tool tracking through a web-based management portal. Location tracking remains active without powering on the tool and continues for up to 30 days, even with the battery removed.
  • GEOFENCING - Set virtual boundaries around your tools and receive immediate alerts whenever equipment leaves the designated area.
  • TOOL STATUS MONITORING - Monitor real-time status to optimize tool deployment and remotely lock out missing equipment to deter theft.
  • TROUBLESHOOTING - Access Tool Diagnostic View for instant condition updates, proactive maintenance suggestions, and error alerts with step-by-step solutions to minimize downtime.
  • NEW FASTER TYING - The RB613T-C tying speed was reduced to approximately 0.5 seconds - about 15% faster than the RB611T.
