J. Keller & Associates, Inc. and the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) have launched their 5th Annual PPE Pain Points Study.

The survey is open through Sept. 8. Those responding to the survey may remain anonymous.

The collaborative study will evaluate the day-to-day experiences of EHS and safety professionals in PPE program development, purchasing, training, and ensuring proper use of PPE to keep employees safe.

“We believe the most actionable insights for greater workplace safety come from listening to safety professionals and others responsible for the day-to-day activities of PPE programs, purchasing, training, and oversight,” said Adrienne Hartman, J. J. Keller EVP of Marketing. “Their experiences can help identify the barriers to safety. And the role of the J. J. Keller Center for Market Insights is to share those insights across industries in ways that inform and drive real improvement.”

Research to help focus industry resources for greatest impact

This is the fifth year of the PPE Pain Points Study by the J. J. Keller Center for Market Insights and the third year ISEA has collaborated with J. J. Keller on the research effort.

“Each year, we look forward to seeing what this research reveals about how PPE programs are working in the real world,” said Cam Mackey, ISEA President and CEO. “It is essential that our industry hears directly from the people selecting, purchasing, and managing PPE every day. Their perspectives help us identify persistent gaps, understand how needs are changing, and focus innovation and industry resources where they can have the greatest impact on worker protection.”

A final study report will be shared with the industry through the media and other channels.
