Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection, a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, recently announced a strategic partnership with Andon Specialties to distribute Teledyne Detcon gas detection systems to customers across the Texas oil & gas market.

As part of this collaboration, Andon Specialties will provide local sales and technical support for Teledyne Detcon’s fixed gas detectors, helping operators protect personnel, assets, and critical infrastructure in some of industry's most demanding operating environments.

The partnership combines Teledyne Detcon’s manufacturing and engineering expertise with Andon’s established presence and customer relationships throughout Texas.

Teledyne gas detectors to be made available through Andon

With its manufacturing plant in Cypress, Texas, Teledyne Detcon is a leading brand within Teledyne GFD, designing and manufacturing industrial-grade gas detection systems for more than 40 years. The ISO 9001-certified facility produces more than 15,000 gas detectors annually, supporting customers worldwide with reliable, U.S.-manufactured safety systems.

Together, Teledyne Detcon and Andon Specialties offer more than 70 years of experience serving the oil and gas industry. The companies said their shared commitment to technical expertise and customer support will help operators meet rigorous safety requirements.

Among many proven fixed gas detection technologies available from Andon Specialties as part of the new partnership will be the GD10P infrared point gas detector. Recognized for its widespread appeal in combustible gas detection applications, the GD10P can provide rapid response times and long-term stability, supported by low maintenance requirements.
