Teledyne's MCX32-TP modular gas and flame detection controller features a touchscreen interface, Modbus support, and flexible I/O for up to 64 field devices.

The MCX32-TP from Teledyne is a scalable, low power alarm and control system designed to monitor gas detection sensors and other field devices using analog and digital communications.

Built around a modular architecture with an intuitive touchscreen human-machine interface (HMI), the system combines flexible I/O expansion, real time visualization, and configurable enclosure options to support a wide range of industrial safety applications.

  • Supports up to 64 field devices using stackable, DIN rail mounted I/O modules
  • 4–20 mA analog inputs and RS 485 Modbus, functions as a Modbus Master
  • Modular I/O options: analog inputs (DA 8), relay outputs (RL 8), digital inputs (DI 8)
  • Field‑configurable via touchscreen HMI with automatic Detcon Modbus device detection
  • Displays real-time readings and alarm status on a 10-inch touchscreen
  • Optional wireless integration using RXT-320 SmartWireless transceivers
  • Available in NEMA 4X wall mount, NEMA 1 panel mount, Fiberglass, or SS enclosures
