A green battery is offered as an option for Morse Manufacturing’s line of drum handlers with battery-powered lift and/or tilt.

The GB option is an environmentally friendly, rechargeable lithium-ion battery that eliminates the potential for harmful gas or acid leaks and spills. Lighter than conventional lead-acid batteries, the unit lasts up to 2,000 cycles—up to eight times longer cycle life.

Maintenance-free, the batteries store for up to one year without a recharge and typically last up to five years. Constructed of four, 3.2-volt, 100 amp-hour pieces, the battery features an aluminum panel, nylon handle and plastic cover. It weighs 29.8 pounds and measures 11.2 x 5.1 x 11.1 inches.
