Precision machining, automation, and engineering services provider Advanced Machine & Engineering (AME) recently showcased its new products at WESTEC 2025.

The manufacturing trade show was held Oct. 7-9 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. It is part of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers’ (SME) Manufacturing Technology Series.

Hennig and AME once again shared a booth, offering a hands-on look into integrated systems that can help improve uptime, accuracy, and throughput.

Coolant, chip conveyors, and machine covers

This year, the companies showcased tombstones, workholding systems, tool clamping systems, and machine protection that can help manufacturers simplify setups, increase precision, and get more out of every cycle:

  • Tombstones and workholding systems from AME engineered for repeatability, rigidity, and flexibility
  • OTT-JAKOB tool clamping systems for secure, consistent tool changes
  • Hennig chip conveyors and high-pressure coolant systems for clean, efficient machining
  • Hennig machine protection components - built to extend equipment life and ensure uninterrupted performance

Whether you're optimizing for high-mix/low-volume or scaling up for lights-out automation, AME and Hennig said their systems are designed to deliver consistency and confidence.

Automation integration representatives were available to walk attendees through the Hennig WorkFlow system’s capabilities, integration points, and ROI potential. Attendees were given an opportunity to ask technical questions, map out future automation goals, and explore how the system could fit their shop’s needs.

Hennig also demonstrated its Slytek real-time machine monitoring and optimization platform that:

  • Pairs seamlessly with Hennig peripherals for true ecosystem integration
  • Offers machine agnostic, scalable monitoring across shops
  • Features an intuitive UI built for production teams
  • Includes coaching programs and throughput guides because performance isn’t just about tracking data, it’s about improving what happens next
  • Supports strategic decisions, lean workflows, and measurable margin growth
