The employee fouled the track and went between a wheeled loader and the railcar that was being rerailed. The employee released the hand brake of the railcar to connect the railcar with the loader. When the hand brake was released, the railcar began rolling toward the loader, striking and pinning the employee between the end of the railcar and the loader. He was diagnosed with six broken ribs and a collapsed lung.
