Open Roll Over Protective Structures (ROPS) from Weldco-Beales Mfg. provide better operator and heavy machine protection in the event of a roll over.
The ROPS include Falling Object Protective Structures (FOPS)
WBM uses only low-temperature (Charpy) impact material for its closed-box construction. Canopies install directly to OEM factory frame brackets.
To maintain compliance with rigid standards, WBM uses CAD and Finite Element Analysis software to determine the stress level of each section of roll over structures. It is required by WBM that ROPS prototypes be performance tested and approved before release for manufacture.
Streamline designs compliment the outfitted prime mover. Optional standard or bullhorn sweeps, third columns, rear and side screens and roof extensions are available for extra protection on WBM ROPS and OEM ROPS.
In addition to a complete line of ROPS and cabs, WBM also offers a line of “Softcabs” for track dozers and wheel loaders. These cabs are designed to fit under existing OEM or WBM ROPS canopies.
