Honeywell Safety Products: Uvex Livewire sealed eyewear

Sealed eyewear for extreme work environments

By 24/7 Staff
January 5, 2014

Uvex Livewire sealed eyewear by Honeywell Safety Products for extreme, high-particulate environments has a precision-engineered frame that ensures a gap-free fit to seal out debris.

Fog protection and scratch resistance are provided with Uvextreme Plus coating. The eyewear protects against debris as well as extreme wind, sun, heat and humidity. For a custom fit, the eyewear can be worn with easy-to-exchange temples or a headband. The foam subframe features a smooth surface and density to minimize pressure, while padded temples provide ideal tension and flex.

Lens angle can be adjusted by up to 15 degrees with ratcheting temples for optimal coverage and air circulation. The eyewear comes in nine specialized lens tints and two frame colors. To accommodate workers who need vision correction, 6- and 8-base prescription safety frames may be specified.
