Big Ass Fans: SmartSense control technology for Powerfoil X3.0 industrial ceiling fan

Control industrial ceiling fan to optimize temperature

By 24/7 Staff
September 11, 2017

Equipped with SmartSense control technology, the Powerfoil X3.0 industrial ceiling fan by Big Ass Fans eliminates the trial and error of finding the ideal air speed when temperatures change.

The control features summer and winter modes—as well as dual air temperature sensors—to match fan speed to seasonal conditions. As the temperature rises, the fan automatically speeds up, providing a cooling effect of up to 10 degrees to keep workers comfortable and productive on hot summer days.

In fall and winter, the control automatically slows the fan to push down rising warm air from a facility’s heater without creating a draft. The fan comes in diameters of 8 to 24 feet and includes a non-prorated 15-year warranty with factory-certified installation.
