The SD7 joint saver from Surface Dynamics—a split aluminum cylinder measuring 3 x 7 inches—is offered as a fast, cost-effective fix for floor joints or cracks that are loose, rocking or spalled.

Featuring a screw and wedge torque mechanism, when inserted between two slabs and expanded the pressure provides the interlock needed to restore load transfer and eliminates slab movement.

A patented spring-like mechanism allows it to expand and contract with the slab as it undergoes movement due to temperature changes. Easy-to-install, the device can be activated in three steps: drill a hole, insert the cylinder and tighten.
