PIP Global Safety has worked to develop multiple kits for high risk environments. The Ultralight PPE 4 Arc Flash Kit rated for 40 Cal/cm2 can help operators meet compliance regulations and protect workers from arc hazards.

The kit includes:

Insulating glove kits and arc-rated hearing protection are not included.

Performance specifications: ATPV 40 Cal/cm2

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has identified the various FR hazardous risk category levels, which range from PPE 1 (which is low risk and requires AR clothing with a minimum arc rating of 4), up to PPE 4 (which is high risk and requires AR clothing with a minimum arc rating of 40). Each level is rated at a certain amount of flame resistance measured in calories per centimeter squared cal/cm2.

The kit is offered in sizes from small to 5XL.
