The National Safety Council (NSC) is launching the 30th anniversary of National Safety Month throughout June. Organizations and individuals are invited to respond with action against preventable injuries, which are cited as a leading cause of death in the United States.
National Safety Month, established in 1986, has expanded into a national movement that works with employers, workers and communities, providing practical tools and resources to reduce risk. Each week in June features a specific safety topic, each with like goal: to save lives, from the workplace to anyplace.
