A faster version of ABB Robotics’ multipurpose 6-axis robot, the IRB 120T, has been introduced, providing increases in the maximum speeds of axes four, five and six, and cycle speeds up to 25% faster.

Ideal for assembly and pick-and-place applications requiring extensive product reorientation, the robot works well in food and beverage, consumer packaging, consumer electronics, electrical and Tier 1 automotive industries.

Features include path repeatability of 0.0004 inches (0.01 millimeters), enhanced motion control and path accuracy, and a small footprint and profile. The robot weighs 55 pounds and carries a standard payload of 6.6 pounds, vertical wrist payload of 8.8 pounds, and reach of 22.4 inches.
