ApproachAlert 2-way is a safety light system that improves safety at blind doorways with 2-way traffic. The system notifies both sides of a doorway when someone is about to pass through. When multiple participants approach a doorway simultaneously from opposite sides, our product interprets the incoming triggers and makes decisions about the order in which to allow passage. The system can prioritize between pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Pedestrians and forklifts working in the same area can be hazardous, so every safety measure should be considered. The ApproachAlert 2-way helps prevent costly accidents and deadly injuries by providing bright LED lights that signal right of way, similar to a traffic light system.

The first side to trigger a doorway sensor displays solid green lights, signaling it is safe to travel through the doorway. Traffic approaching from the opposite side will see flashing red lights to notify them that traffic is moving towards them through the doorway. Once the first side’s traffic has passed, the second side’s lights will fade off or go green to indicate it is safe for waiting traffic to proceed.

Product Features:

  • Increased safety for drivers and warehouse employees
  • Minimal cost compared to repair and injury costs
  • Visual signals are much more effective in blind corners

ApproachAlert 2-way is a traffic control system that regulates pedestrian and forklift traffic at warehouse intersections. When multiple participants approach an intersection simultaneously. ApproachAlert reviews the incoming triggers and makes decisions about the order in which to allow passage. The system can discern between pedestrian and vehicular traffic by which sensor and/or lane was triggered. The installer can set several parameters that affect which type of traffic or lane gets priority over others.
