Computer vision AI company Voxel shares that Brittany DeRafelo, director of Customer Solutions, will lead a panel session at ASSP Safety 2026, in Anaheim, CA, June 15-17, 2026.
The session, "Working Smarter, Not Harder: Embracing AI Without Forcing Adoption," will feature safety leaders who will share how they adopted AI in industrial settings and challenges they faced.
The American Society of Safety Professionals' Annual Professional Development Conference and Exposition convenes occupational safety and health professionals from throughout the world, according to Voxel, a company focused on workplace safety and risk.
The session (#5061) is scheduled for Monday, June 15, from 4:15–5:15 p.m. PT. DeRafelo and the following panelists will discuss how organizations are integrating AI-powered safety tools while avoiding pitfalls:
"The biggest barrier to AI in safety isn't the technology, it's trust. When teams feel like something is being done to them rather than for them, adoption stalls. This conversation is about changing that dynamic, and giving safety leaders the tools to introduce AI in a way that actually sticks,” says DeRafelo.
