The 240 flame-resistant Kevlar-knit gloves from SHOWA are suitable for TIG and light MIG welding.
These arc flash Category 2 gloves meets National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E standards, with an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of 9.2 cal/cm2 to protect hands from flames, flashes, and sparks to avoid burns.
These gloves are also cut-resistant to protect against lacerations and some punctures caused by handling sharp items, such as metal and glass. They are ANSI/ISEA cut level A4, puncture level 4, and abrasion level 3 rated, capable of withstanding 100 N of force.
These gloves are irritation-free and have a neoprene coating for handling dry and oily workpieces. Neoprene is soft, flexible, and heat resistant, providing a good grip in dry conditions. The rough surface grip offers excellent comfort when working for long periods of time.
