Cynergy Ergonomics: Purpose-built vacuum lifter

Vacuum lifters take weight out of assembly processes

By 24/7 Staff
May 31, 2015

Adding a purpose-built vacuum lifter by Cynergy Ergonomics to support the repositioning of assembly components, such as those in automotive manufacturing operations, prevents operator fatigue.

The lifter can be deployed to move and reorient an assembly in and out of work cells, even as its weight increases through the manufacturing process.

Features include vacuum cup tooling for use in applications with elevated temperatures, compressed air power source, and “part present” technology that prevents component release until it is properly seated in the next cell.
