OSHAcademy Focus Four - Struck-By Hazards training course

Learn how to identify, describe, and protect against construction struck-by hazards

Struck-By Hazards is the third training course covering the hazards in OSHAcademy’s “Construction Focus Four Hazards” series.

The Focus Four Hazards series was developed to help educate workers in the construction industry about understanding the hazards they face, and knowing what their employer's responsibilities are to protect workers from workplace hazards.

Once students complete this course they will be able to identify common struck-by hazards, describe types of struck-by hazards, protect themselves from struck-by hazards, and recognize employer requirements to protect workers from struck-by hazards.

OSHAcademy is accredited by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and offers IACET continuing education units (CEUs) for courses that meet ANSI/IACET standards.

  • Modules: 2
  • Hours: 1.5
  • IACET: 0.15 CEUs

OSHAcademy students have free access to all training materials, including knowledge checks and course activities. Documentation of training - such as exam scores, certificates, and transcripts - can be accessed by purchasing a certificate package.
