Isotrak: On-Board Safety Camera

Safety cameras reduce insurance claim costs

By Isotrak
October 28, 2013

To protect against fraudulent insurance claims, an on-board safety camera by Isotrak works either as a stand-alone unit or can be integrated with the supplier’s fleet management system to provide recordings of a vehicle’s activity.

The camera provides accurate, court-admissible evidence that, in the event of an accident, can reduce insurance claim costs by as much as 50% while protecting operators against false claims.

Captured data can also aid in reducing speeding and accident rates. When used with the fleet management system, collected data is applied to driver scorecards, compliance and job planning reports in real-time.
