Terex: Maintenance protocol for Genie S- and Z- boom lifts

New maintenance protocol streamlines boom lift care

By 24/7 Staff
March 25, 2016

Terex now offers a new, consolidated maintenance protocol for any Genie S- and Z- boom lift model that enables completion of the entire program in less time.

With the new approach, maintenance procedures are reduced or eliminated to save time and labor costs. Procedures have been condensed (from 24 separate manuals) into one manual, standardized across the entire product line. The new manual comes in hard copy and digital formats, and contains complete performance specifications and a streamlined list of maintenance tasks.

The new protocol includes extended service interval recommendations. Many periodic procedures have moved from quarterly and semi-annually to annually, while all of commissioning assignments are now set for 50 hours and 150 hours.
