Pressure-Sensitive Safety Mats from Ferndale Safety detect the presence of people when they step on the mat surface.

These safety mats are ideal for person-sensing around dangerous machinery and equipment in hazardous locations. These pressure-sensitive control mats offer press-at-any-point actuation and are available in standard and custom sizes and shapes.

Protect automatic processes and hazardous areas

Ferndale’s safety mats have been field-tested for over twenty-five years. Their moisture-and abrasion-resistant surface makes them perfect for use in factory settings. The ribbing on the top and bottom surfaces prevents water or oil buildup.

The fully-protected switching elements are highly rugged and reliable, with an operating life of several million cycles. All safety mats come supplied with four-conductor fail-safe wiring.

Ferndale’s safety mats are suitable for various applications, including machine operation control, automated assembly line guarding, robot area guarding, automatic door operation, process cycle control, and general hazardous area guarding.

With its industrial-duty, pressure-sensitive design and long-lasting durability, these mats are the perfect choice for any application.
