With the addition of plug-in interfaces for PROFINET and EtherCAT, the decentralized 8400 Motec frequency inverter drives from Lenze Americas can now provide plug-and-drive communication to real-time Ethernet networks.

This makes it possible to easily integrate variable speed drives into existing, high-performance communications networks for streamlined inverter drive commissioning. Power dense and energy efficient, the drives control motion at the source. They are ideal for decentralized drive use in power ranges between 0.37 and 3 kW. Three modules are included: a drive unit, communication unit and wiring unit.

Compact and IP65 protection rated, the drives can be screw-mounted outside the control panel directly on or near the motor for quick commissioning and space savings.
