The 36 Inch Deluxe Drum Grounding Wire from Wesco Industrial Products, LLC provides a connection between storage drums and true ground.

The heavy-duty insulated wire rope includes a C-clamp on one end and alligator clip on the other.

OSHA requires grounding drums

OSHA requires that all drums and containers storing and receiving fluids with a flash point below 140 degrees Fahrenheit be grounded and bonded to reduce dangerous static electricity buildup.

  • Single drums must be grounded, with containers being dispensed into bonded to the drum.
  • Multiple drums must be bonded to each other with one drum or the rack grounded.

Wesco wires can help companies meet these important safety requirements.

Wesco recommends the user contact their chemical suppliers to determine if the product is compatible with chemicals at their facility.

The 36 Inch Deluxe Drum Grounding Wire is available from Wesco distributors, including Global Industrial Supply, DigiKey, Zoro, and FindItParts. Interested parties can also visit the dealer lookup page on Wesco’s website.
