Safety software provider VelocityEHS recently added additional AI-powered features and capabilities to its Accelerate platform.

The company’s new AI enhancements will be delivered within the Vēlo subscription for Safety. Together, they will suggest likely hazard types and root causes, then use that data to recommend corrective actions as users complete incident reports.

Trained on thousands of real incidents and validated by safety experts, VelocityEHS said its VelocityAI model can save users’ time, strengthen reporting quality, and help prevent repeat incidents through data-driven corrective action planning.

VelocityAI performs analysis, simplifies compliance

VelocityAI is a human-backed system built to elevate EHS outcomes. It can analyze 3D motion capture to improve ergonomics, flag hidden risks among near misses to help predict and prevent injuries, automate SDS indexing for compliance, and streamline OSHA paperwork verification.

Vēlo AI assistant unveiled at NSC Safety Expo

Vēlo debuted at the 2025 NSC Safety Expo. It is an always-on assistant that can enable proactive risk prevention, smarter decision making, faster response times, more consistent safety performance, and help organizations mature their operational risk programs.

Operational Risk AI additions can strengthen JSAs

Powered by Vēlo, AI Hazard Analyzer and AI Control Recommendations automatically assesses job safety analysis (JSAs), then identifies hazards and suggests relevant and tailored controls, drawing on each organization’s hazard library along with industry best practices and regulatory data.
