Antimicrobial handrails protect against contamination

InPro: SureContact Antimicrobial Handrails
By InPro
October 12, 2012

To combat surface contamination by microbes, SureContact handrails incorporate sanitized zinc pyrithione technology.

Anchored into the material substrate at the molecular level during manufacturing—rather than applied to the surface—the active ingredient electrically depolarizes the microbe’s membrane.

This inactivates the microbe to create a permanently protected surface without promoting cell mutations or leaching into the surrounding environment. The antimicrobial option is offered for seven different handrail colors.
