AI-powered system increases pedestrian safety

The Pedestrian Proximity Detection solution for lift trucks has AI capabilities that help operations proactively prevent accidents to increase pedestrian safety and reduce damage to equipment. The system can identify any individuals or equipment in the truck’s path with AI-led object detection. When individuals or equipment is detected, the system provides audio and visual alerts of possible hazards. The alerts are emitted from the system’s front and rear indicator lights, whereas any nearby objects are identified through the system’s vehicle-powered cameras, each of which has embedded AI.
