A new LED light kit by MacroAir eliminates the effects of strobing caused by nearby ceiling lights shining through an overhead fan’s blades.

The kit is an option for the supplier’s AirVolution-D line of high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fans (models 550, 780 and AVD3). In addition to creating more illumination in the area the fan is placed, the light consumes only 10% of the electricity a typical incandescent light emits.

Other features of the kit include the ability to tie it into the existing light grid for easy operation and optimal coverage, an 80-degree lens angle, and rugged die cast aluminum heat sink for reliable operation. Suitable for dry and damp environments, the kit operates on any voltage between 100 and 277.
