A programmable, mini safety laser scanner is offered by Tapeswitch for machine/area guarding applications.

Equipped with an easy-to-use beginner mode, the scanner enables flexible configuration of protection and warning zones. For versatility, functions include muting, a reference boundary feature and disabled zone configurations.

The unit takes into consideration multiple guarding application requirements—from simple to complex scenarios—with two warning ranges and one protective range. It can handle up to 16 pattern configurations and meets Laser Class 1, Type 3 specifications.
