Kamps, a leading national pallet manufacturer and recycler, announced today the grand opening of its new facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This strategic relocation from Omaha, Nebraska, significantly expands the company's operational capabilities and reinforces its commitment to serving the robust industrial landscape of the greater Omaha and Council Bluffs area.

The new facility, located at 2441 River Road, Council Bluffs, Iowa, boasts an impressive footprint of over 150,000 square feet of usable space. This substantial increase in size was a primary driver for the move, according to the company. The increase in space will provide ample room for Kamps’ state-of-the-art machinery and extensive pallet inventory.

The official unveiling of the new facility was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held last week on July 24th. The event was well-attended by Kamps Pallets'; CEO, members of the company's leadership team, the dedicated local Council Bluffs team, and esteemed members of the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce. Kamps is a member of the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce, solidifying its roots and commitment to the local economy.

"This move represents an exciting growth opportunity for Kamps Pallets and our commitment to the Omaha and Council Bluffs business community," said Justin Kamps, VP of Operations. "Our local team was extremely diligent and deliberate in planning out the building layout. Their focus on optimizing machinery placement, implementing stringent safety measures, and ensuring an efficient flow of pallets through the plant will enable us to deliver unparalleled service and quality to our customers."

The Council Bluffs location will continue to provide comprehensive pallet solutions to a wide array of major industries in the region, including food manufacturing and meat processing, baking, paper manufacturing, and chemical manufacturing. Services offered from this advanced facility include pallet recycling, new and recycled pallet manufacturing, and comprehensive pallet life-cycle services, ensuring businesses have access to sustainable and efficient pallet solutions.

Kamps, Inc. is a full-service national pallet company delivering pallet services to customers since 1973. Kamps specializes in supplying high-quality wood pallets, comprehensive pallet recycling services, and total pallet management services to diverse supply chains across the nation – and select national customers in Canada and Mexico. Kamps has over 400 locations in its national network, which includes over 50 asset-based manufacturing and recycling facilities and multiple company-owned sawmills.
