Material Transfer Systems: Hydraulic Lift & Seal Drum Discharging System
By Material Transfer Systems
February 21, 2015

The hydraulic Lift & Seal drum discharging system by Material Transfer safely and efficiently empties drums of various materials into any process.

Custom-engineered, each unit features a carbon-steel loading skip to accept drums, then applies a hydraulic device to dock the drum to a gasketed pour cone for dust-tight, contaminant-free product discharge. To enhance flow, the pour cone features a manually actuated butterfly valve and a pneumatic vibrator.

All product contact surfaces feature 304 stainless steel construction. A customized docking adaptor (also made from 304 stainless steel) allows the unit to connect to existing equipment.
