The Gates 25 Inch Static Strap is made from a specially-compounded rubber that conducts static electricity while resisting weathering, abrasion, and tearing and meeting MILR3065C military specifications.

The 25 Inch Static Strap from Gates Corporation discharges potentially dangerous static electricity from road vehicles and equipment when properly grounded, up to 100 ohm-cm.

The strap helps prevent static buildup that can cause sparks, especially around fuel trucks, tankers, or any vehicle carrying flammable materials. Just attach one end to the chassis and let the other end drag lightly on the ground.
