November 24, 2014

As a means to prevent forklift accidents involving pedestrians, the Firefly collision avoidance system by Embrace Safety mounts onto existing fork trucks.

The device integrates an LED light that illuminates a large, blue spot on the floor as far as 17 feet ahead of the direction of travel.

Mountable for use in either forward or reverse, the light warns pedestrians and other equipment operators about the approach of oncoming forklift traffic.
