The Intelligent FAAST Fire Alarm Aspiration Sensing Technology from System Sensor directly integrates with leading fire alarm control panels (FACPs).

This direct integration enables FAAST to supply more detailed alarm, fault, and trouble information, thereby simplifying system monitoring, maintenance, and overall design. Intelligent FAAST evolves beyond the common scenarios of monitoring one or more standalone aspiration systems, or the use of intricate and costly equipment to interface these separate systems with various fire alarm systems.  Intelligent FAAST doesn’t require any additional hardware or software.

It integrates with the FACP like any other addressable detectors on the loop, making aspirating smoke detection installation very straightforward. And because it uses the communications protocol native to the fire panel systems the company’s customers already use, they can program FAAST using the tools and systems they already know. That means less time and cost to design and install the system.
