Addition of three different end effectors enhances lifting, transporting device

The Ergo Tranz versatile, adaptable and powerful lifting and transporting device by Ergotech for factory floors and warehouses is now offered in three new versions with custom end effectors that address more applications.

To replace manual lifting or cranes, the multifunction sliding boom-and-hook end effector picks up material from boxes at floor level and transports loads up to 600 pounds. The grip/turn/tip end effector pours wet or dry substances with accuracy and without operator strain, and it supports loads up to 200 pounds.

The core grip/rotate and push-off end effector features a mandrel expander to grip and hold a roll of material from inside the core of the roll, then pivot it 90 degrees. This allows users to move rolls from a vertical to a horizontal position and back. With the addition of an electric motorized push-off, the entire lift/transport/placement operation is fully mechanized.
