March 21, 2014

Featuring simple operation for ease of use, the completely mechanical Drum Transporter by Vestil Manufacturing securely lifts and transports plastic, steel and fiber drums with a top lip.

A steel jaw grips the top lip of the drum, while a choice of manual mechanical ratchet or a hydraulic lift foot pump mechanism lifts the load. For easy access to drums on pallets, the unit’s straddle legs rotate open.

Rolling on four, 8 x 2-inch phenolic casters, the device moves drums thanks to an ergonomic push handle. Powder-coated, welded steel construction and a safety yellow finish are included standard. Options include a scale to weigh drums within 0.5-pound tolerances.
